I would hope so, too, Carol. But people get such a slanted view of Palestinians by the mainstream media, I fear they won’t demand it.
Yes, the media does make a circus out of suffering and war for entertainment, and it’s hard to believe in such a situation that most elected officials would risk their reelection by taking a stand. Nonetheless, I plan to following up with telephone calls to my legislators today.
