The photo pretty much says it all. The following is a photo-essay by Toufic Beyhum and Nadim Dimechkie. You must be wondering about the connection between one of the world’s largest refugee camps (which is gradually evolving into a permanent settlement) and the famous boulevard (the paradise for dead heroes) in Paris? Well, read on, and find out all about it – thanks to the work of Beyhum and Dimechkie, titled What remains when all is lost?
“The salesman on the Champs-Elysées displays the shiny black shoes in neat, even rows. Each time the wind picks up, each time a truck roars past, they are drowned in billows of fine desert sand. And each time, the salesman dusts the sand off each shoe, wipes it down and places it back in line. Another cloud of sand may come along any moment, but the shoes will stay…
I have come across this photograph a few times, normally coupled with the word ‘defiance’, in respect of the steely stare given by the Russian POW to the infamous Heinrich Himmler.
It was taken during the Nazi’s visit to a Shirokaya Street POW camp in Minsk, Russia, in August 1941.
I’ve had some more time to plow through Lynne Millikan’s Lupron Victims Hub website.…and my head is swimming after only a few clicks on links.
Lynne sent a letter to Michelle Eby at the FDA on Lupron and its horrible side effects. In it, Millikan asks for the data supporting Eby’s decision that no action would be taken against Lupron, even though there are life-changing side effects including death. This Freedom of Information letter was sent in March 2014, over 16 months ago, and Millikan has not received a reply.
Millikan also links to a report on the resignation of Dr. David Wright, who was in charge of checking out research integrity and plagiarism in science at Health and Human Services. He resigned after just a short time there due to the inability to do his job. He was thwarted at every turn, it appears. So you can show this as an example of why we should not blindly follow scientific research as the “final answer” when it is known that people of integrity want nothing to do with the very organization set up to ensure research is corroborated and examined for flaws, biases, and honesty. Be sure to read the comments from fellow researchers and scientists who know Dr. Wright and admire his integrity. Gah, why is it always the ones who have integrity that are forced to quit? Ahem.
Next, we have an interview with Lupron victim Karin Klein.
In it, she explains how evidence against Abbott Labs was hidden from trial and how the judge was allowing Abbott to enter all of its evidence, while disallowing Klein to put forth all of her evidence against Abbott and Lupron. The interviewer, Rose Colombo, is an advocate of justice for all, and she remarks that the denial of Constitutional rights is across the country. Judges are disallowing evidence to be brought forth or advocating for the defendants (in this case, the pharmaceutical companies).
Karin goes on to say that Abbott claimed that side effects were temporary…they are not. They also removed black box warnings of bone density loss and permanent thyroid damage. She says that one woman became blind because of Lupron. Good Grief. You can hear the shock and horror in the “Oh My God” after Karin discloses this…
But, wait, there’s more!
Abbott Labs was convicted of bribery and conspiracy fraud in regards to Lupron!
And yet, they are still allowed to continue as a huge mammoth company.
And yet they are still allowed to sell this horrible product that creates illnesses and does not cure any illness at all.
Karin mentions connections to the mob. You know, it flashed into my head after hearing of Dr. Jeff Bradstreets’ murder that it stank of the mafia. We have several natural doctors that suddenly died in a short time span…
…and we also have John “Jack” Wheeler, a Vietnam veteran, honorable man who served in government for decades, who was murdered…
…we have doctors being bribed with $100.000 a year to prescribe Lupron. And Abbott lab just adds that money back into the price of the drug, as Karin testifies that it costs $600 per injection. Think of that the next time you hear that they have to price these drugs so high in order to make a profit and cover research costs. Research costs, my arse! the link to the doctors’ payments website here.
…we have Karin’s father threatened with being thrown in jail so they can thwart his testimony of his daughter’s suffering!
…we have a judge hiding evidence in his chambers until the statute of limitations has run out and then orders Karin to pay Abbott!
….we have Abbott allegedly offering Karin’s attorney his attorney fees to drop the case…
If that’s not the mafia, I don’t know what it is…
You know, if I had heard this story prior to my own, I would not have believed it. I know what they are saying is true by the judge in my hometown who had the clerk shut off the recording device during the hearing with the sleazebag debt buyers. He also interfered by answering for the sleazebag.when I asked direct questions. Then he ordered my wages garnished even though I was averaging $200 per month, with a rare month of $300. Usury. On top of all of this, the clerk refused to answer my questions when I called, and even hung up on me…just for asking questions…not in a rude manner, mind you, just wanting information. She said I would have to travel to town, an hour and ten minute round trip….gas money I did not have.
Next, I found the following video on an actual journalist doing her job:
Oh, my God, I had forgotten about the panic attacks! After the heart attack which I now know was caused Synarel, not Seldane, I began having serious panic attacks. I would be out shopping and would feel so overwhelmed I would have to leave the store. I would leave a cart full of products and race out of the store! I remember telling myself to just breathe, just breathe. I never knew when one was coming on. It was hard to explain any of this to anyone, because no one understood what I was going through. Bless those around Karin whom have supported her.
By the way, Synarel is made by Pfizer, and has the same effect on shutting down the pituitary as Lupron.
As you listen to the report, and Abbott’s response, you see the slick PR machine where they claim the victim is a hypochondriac, in so many words. I think the wildly held (and wrong) belief that women are hypochondriacs contributes to them not being believed, especially when it involves emotional stuff, like panic attacks. Thank you, Sigmund Freud, for classifying women as hysterical, emotional beings that are not to be believed.
I can’t help but think that the reason Abbott and Pfizer, et al, have gotten away with this is because of the misogyny not only in the medical profession, but in law, as well. Just the other day, a female judge put a domestic violence victim in jail because she refused to come to court to testify against her abuser. The victim testified of her fear of this man, and the judge put HER in jail!!
Here’s some more info on GcMAF — what the FDA/Big Pharma Gestapo were looking for when they raided Dr. Bradstreet’s office. The investigation is ongoing and the family posted an update on the GoFundMe website.
An illustrated description of the biochemical transformations involved in the synthesis of GcMAF from Vitamin D Binding protein.
How your body makes the GcMAF that activates macrophages and protects you from cancer and viruses
GcMAF and Nagalase are both proteins, so let me start with a brief—and hopefully painless—primer on proteins. You know those birthday present bows made of clusters of curly ribbons? Under a very powerful microscope, proteins look like that. The ribbons are long chains of hundreds of amino acids that make up a protein molecule. Our DNA is programmed to make tens of thousands of different proteins, and what makes them different is the ordering of the amino acids. Each strand (usually there are three or four of them) of curled ribbon in our birthday bow is one of those chains. The curly ribbons are all attached together where the bow is fastened to the present. They…
Last night I was in bed waiting to drift off to sleep, when I felt this feeling of serenity and calmness….that I was being held by the Holy Spirit. I know some of you were praying for me or sending me positive, comforting energy.
I just wanted to say Thank You. I don’t get a lot of support from my family — a couple of my kids have stuck by me even though they don’t understand all that has happened to me physically.
Lynne Millican, who started the Lupron victims hub after her own devastating health decline from Lupron, has a link to a legal brief that spells out how TAP/Abbott Labs have hidden their responsibility in harming many, many women. ( **edited to add: It’s interesting that I never saw Pfizer mentioned in links about Synarel. My bad, I thought Abbott also made Synarel, but it is manufactured by Pfizer. And no, I have not found lawsuits against Pfizer for Synarel. Not that it means much, because we know that the pharmaceutical companies will pay out $$$ to people they have harmed, but keep it quiet with gag orders.)
As with most Big Pharma, they want all of the profits and none of the liabilities. They sought to keep secret all of the known chronic illnesses their drug, Lupron/Synarel cause. They have had several lawsuits settled with a gag order so the victims could not speak out to tell the other women of their irreversible illnesses brought on by these horrible drugs.
This is a violation of these women’s constitutional right of free speech. They have the victims where they want them — they are most likely broke because the illnesses caused by these horrible drugs make it impossible for them to earn a living. Broke means desperate to get a settlement so they can treat their illnesses and have somewhat of a normal life, so they agree to keep silent. The gag order means that TAP/Abbott Labs can go on poisoning people, making big bucks, and walking away when the woman starts to suffer chronic illnesses that are known to be caused by Lupron/Synarel.
By the way, Millican mentions Jay Hancock of the Baltimore Sun being threatened by these thugs. I did a quick search of Jay Hancock…guess where he is now? Just guess. He is now part of Big Pharma/Big Medicine by joining Kaiser Health. Yep.
Back to the Millican brief:
3 only, and enacted label changes to warn of the risks of diabetes, heart attack, sudden cardiac death and stroke.
19 The 2011 review of Lupron’s use in women for endometriosis sent to FDA by Dr. Redwine details “an
unacceptable risk-benefit analysis” and included gross evidence of data manipulation, and “definitive evidence of long-term damage to ovarian function… resulting in a body-wide premature aging process that would explain many of the long-term symptoms that many women experience after Lupron therapy” 20

This just makes me want to cry. Up until the past few years, people used to think I was younger than I was…now I look older than I am. Each migraine ages me…I saw that even before I found this website. Now I know why. **edited to add: Not only do they age me, but I also lose five pounds in a 48 hour period. Sometimes I have lost ten pounds with a migraine! The weight comes back after the crises is over. And then the whole cycle begins all over again.
A Kafkaesque milieu exists whereby most physicians are unaware of and deny Lupron’s risks (“the success Abbott has had in deceiving the profession [is] by hiding unfavorable data and manipulating data, aided and
abetted by paid ‘experts’ who influence the profession”21), and in which Congress and DOJ and FDA’s failure to substantively act for the protection of the consumer, and the Courts allow, affirm—and are oblivious to—the dis–information campaign of Lupron’s alleged ‘safety and efficacy’.
—————————-
The FDA has known about this for awhile, according to the website. Here they have acknowledged as much of what I have suffered. And the most disgusting part of this? These drugs don’t even do what the manufacturer claims — Endometriosis is not cured by it — the Endo comes back as soon as the drug is stopped. So it is not a cure, but only manages symptoms. This is not healing. I am pretty sure that my Endo was brought about by heavy metals — at the time I began having symptoms, I was exposed to lead, arsenic, and mercury from coal dust in the tender teen development years. It is likely linked to gluten, as well.
There was a case against TAP/Abbott Labs in 2011, by Karin Klein, in Las Vegas, which Lynne Millican writes about. I looked up the case, and Klein’s attorney was not allowed to present all the evidence of the devastation of this drug and how case after case of women suffered chronic illnesses after using the drugs. The court appeared to have deliberately slanted all the evidence to favor TAP/Abbott Labs. Klein appealed, and the appellate court, looking at the same slanted evidence, ruled against Klein, as well. She went to the Supreme Court, that Lynne Millican wrote the brief, but I don’t see that they took up the case.
The more I read, the more incensed I get at how the billion dollar corporations have everyone in their back pocket.
And I am irritated at the women who were gagged from talking about their lawsuits when they could have prevented countless others’ suffering.
Milwaukee’s public schools typify the kind of school district now undergoing state takeover in a wave of such imposition of “recovery” or “achievement” districts being rushed through state legislatures. The bills are often fast-tracked without legislative debate and without input from the communities where the takeovers are being imposed. The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel describes the provision—log-rolled into Wisconsin’s state’s budget when it passed on July 12, that grants Milwaukee County Executive Chris Abele, “broad authority to oversee a special district in Milwaukee for the city’s most troubled public schools…. The Program, devised by Republican state lawmakers from the suburbs, is designed to take some of the district’s lowest performing schools from the control of the Milwaukee School Board and put them under the control of Abele and a commissioner he selects, or directly under MPS Superintendent Darienne Driver, if she chooses to use that authority.”
that he expected to find work “expanding opportunity for children.”
—In other words, Arne Duncan has landed a job at a hedge fund to profiteer off of the non-education of our children….
Incredibly, on this morning’s local news, they had a blurb on the ISTEP testing. An Indiana educator said we needed to have children read a passage and then answer questions showing that they understood what they read to evaluate their comprehension. They featured some self-important consultant schmuck from North Carolina who laughingly said that if we are concerned about the length of time of testing, that we don’t need this part of the test. bwahahahaha. *snort* bwahahaha.
What exactly, are tests about, then? Somebody clue me in, because if a test is not about evaluating a student’s abilities, then what is it about??
Today it was announced that US Secretary of Education Arne Duncan, he who has used the awesome power of the federal Government to wreak layered and relentless havoc on the entire public school system, will resign in December.
Duncan said he was resigning to spend more time with his family and stated, in what appeared to be complete seriousness, that he expected to find work “expanding opportunity for children.”
Duncan was the longest serving education secretary in U.S. history and easily the most appalling.
Even as candidate Obama campaigned with Linda Darling-Hammond, in a bait and switch maneuver that can now be seen as characteristic of his presidency, President–elect Obama named non-educator Duncan Secretary of Education. The appointment, made at the insistence of Democrats for Education Reform (DFER), a group made up almost entirely of hedge fund managers, signaled that under Duncan the Department of Education would serve in essence…
The Afghan city of Kunduz was seized by the Taliban this week. A hospital in Kunduz was bombed today during the US airstrike – Medecins Sans Frontieres says it gave the coordinates of hospital (hit by an airstrike that killed at least 19 people) to US forces several times.
Another 19 human beings and all their lives are now being reduced to collateral damage. Afghanistan, and all the other war-torn places can’t seem to leave my head…
Farzana Wahidy was born in Kandahar and moved to Kabul at the age of six. She attended school during the years of the Afghan civil war. After the Taliban came to power and prohibited the education of women, she secretly attended an underground school located in an apartment with three hundred other girls (it made me think of Nadia Anjuman and the Golden Needle Sewing School).
