Get me outta here!

Eagle

If you feel like an outcast, take heart. Sometimes the reason you don’t fit in is because you are surrounded by satanists and you are not. And they know it. And they may suddenly surround you, after so many years of mocking or belittling you. Because you have something they want. Don’t give your power to them. I am a truth teller and truth seeker.

Respect the Sacred

July 4, 2017 by eagle

You of a certain age may remember Close Encounters of the Third Kind, where people were drawn to an incredible stone formation…but they didn’t know why…

The stone formation in the movie was real — Bear Lodge or Bear Tower…which was named Devils Tower by white men.  They claimed the Native folk named it that, but that could not have been because it is a sacred place.  The Native folk have tried to get the name changed, but were voted down.

This is a sacred place for them.  They have had so much taken from them, and all they request is to have a month of no climbers on the rock.  June is a particularly religious month for them, where they have ceremonies at sacred places.

I was sad to read this.  Frank Sanders can be a generous person, but I strongly disagree with his stance here.  He runs a bed and breakfast that makes a profit off of people coming to climb the sacred stone.  As other posters have stated, I am glad that Sanders is sober…but to say that the stone heals him, therefore, he will climb it no matter of others’ feelings is just wrong.

Bear Tower is a healing place.

People who are unaware of that can be disruptive to those seeking a connection to God and all of God’s creation.  Serenity is a hard commodity to come by in this world as it is now and I cannot think of anything we need more desperately now than a connection to the Creator.

And it’s not just Bear Tower/Lodge, but Bear Butte, too, which is also a sacred place.  You might recall I wrote about it when a saloon owner decided to move within a few miles of it, despite Native folk asking them not to.  The owner ignored their pleas.  And the native folk say prayers and tie tobacco cloths to trees all over the mountain.  There are signs requesting that people speak in quiet voices and not disturb the prayer cloths nor bother people who are praying on the mountain.

Nearly every time that I was there, there were people, usually white, who ignored these simple requests.  They talked loudly, even shouting, while people were there praying.  I was meditating there one day and was stared at by a girl that was so bothersome I had to stop my meditation.  I have had a headband I left there stolen.

If Native folk were to go into churches, taking sacred items or walking around talking loudly while people were trying to pray, there would be such a furor raised.

All they ask is for the same respect that people demand in churches.

What is left out of the pain discussion…

June 28, 2017 by eagle

I’m able to listen to the insanity on TV again…you know, sometimes silence is a gift…

So as I am listening of the “opioid epidemic” discussion on the nooz  and again wondering why they are suddenly discovering this when it has been KNOWN for sometime…and I can’t dismiss that Big Pharma owns the nooz, so how are they benefiting from this? What is the hidden agenda?

As I am listening to this and the nooz reports do not address the natural methods of pain relief…one of which I have talked about — coffee enemas.  These non-narcotic enemas relieve pain. They help the liver in detox, aiding the body to rid itself of the toxins were are exposed to every day.  It is really criminal for physicians to write prescriptions for these addictive drugs that actually poison the system and not telling people about coffee enemas.  But then they wouldn’t be helping put billions of dollars into Big Pharma’s pockets…

Does anyone believe the story that Merck Manual, which is a reference for physicians, removed coffee enemas from their guide because there wasn’t enough room? Me neither.

For those who are new, a coffee enema is a tablespoon of organic coffee in a quart of filtered water.  Boil for five minutes.  Allow to cool so you won’t burn yourself.  Place in enema bag.  Use soap or natural oil to lubricate the tip.  Try to hold it for fifteen minutes, but don’t try to hold it in when you get the urge to go.  At first, you may only be able to hold it for five minutes, depending on how toxic you are.

Be sure to eat raw fruits and vegetables to replace minerals and electrolytes.

See Gerson Therapy for further discussion.

Be well, my friends.

Sea World continues to hold Tillikum captive **edited

…instead of transporting him back to his native waters in the Pacific Northwest.

I love how they continue to portray themselves as giving a rat’s behind on Tillikum’s health and how they spin keeping him isolated in marine jail (medicine tank).

How can they justify 30+ years of keeping him caged?

Take him back to his native waters where he was stolen from…let him live free for what time he has left.  As I said before, they are probably worried that he would actually improve being  released from marine prison…

To those of you that pray or send Light and Energy, please do so for Tillikum…and all caged animals.

**Edited to add:  found this link about the story.  Note that Sea World launched a million dollar Public Relations campaign to boost its image…instead of doing the right thing by using that money to transport Tillikum back to his native…

Looking white and being Aboriginal

June 25, 2017 by eagle

Now that I know I have Native blood, I find that I am having these same feelings. I want to know about my ancestor — who was he or she? What tribe did they belong to? How did they live? How and when did our families come together?

Rude comments spark identity crisis that took months to get over

By Regan Burden, CBC News, June 21, 2017

It was a beautiful summer day in downtown St. John’s; my friend was working a food truck and on my way to work, I’d often stop to say hello, maybe grab a poutine to eat on my way to work.

Nebraska does the right thing…

June 25, 2017 by eagle

On a happier note, Nebraska denied the liquor licenses of the liquor stores in a one-horse town that was selling to the Native folk across the border at Pine Ridge Reservation, even though Pine Ridge is a dry reservation.

When the radio news announced this in April, and the liquor store owners threatened to appeal, I thought that I would be hearing of the rich store owners getting their way, via their sleazebag attorneys. As of today, I have not heard any different.

You might recall that I had a conversation with an activist at Standing Rock.  She had said that she and Native mamas with their babies in strollers formed a line across the road, blocking the liquor truck making deliveries.  The minute the driver saw them, he turned his truck around.  Pretty cool.

The activist knew that he would return the next day, but for that day, they had stopped the genocide-by-bottle.

Let’s hope, for once, the Native folk win one and this ruling sticks.

A dream of planes crashing

June 25, 2017 by eagle

Okay, folks, I had a prophetic dream last week, but I was reluctant to say anything…

…but then I thought of the Potawatomi Indians of Indiana and them telling me to honor my dreams and visions.  If you recall, I had not told anyone that I was having dreams and visions and I did not know any of them personally before they urged me to honor my dreams and visions.

The reason I didn’t want to write about it is because there were some important details left out and even though I prayed asking for more details, none have been forthcoming.  As always, these dreams occur just before I wake up.

So I’ll tell you what I saw:

I and my boyfriend were in what felt like my apartment…it felt like home, but it sort of looked like an airport observation lounge.  We were the only ones in there.

Suddenly, a large plane, like a 747, comes roaring in — much too fast for a safe landing, and the landing gear was not down.  There was a man — a bad man — who was running down a sidewalk right next to the runway, and the plane “buzzed” him, it was flying so low.

It skidded on the runway, sliding and then crashing further down the runway.  Another plane followed, but it was going crossways across the runway.  It also was going waaay too fast before it, too, crashed.  More planes crashed, all too fast, as if the pilots had no control and they were being pulled downward.  Planes were crashing one on top of another.

It was dirty, too, like there was a dust storm.  Or perhaps a volcano had exploded.  It just looked eerie, with no color, only brownish-gray.

My boyfriend and I realized something was terribly, terribly wrong and started to run down a stairwell…but then realized that was not safe.  It felt like water was coming up, but I could be wrong.  It just felt that there was danger down below, as well, so we ran back up the stairs.

Unfortunately, that was all that I was given.  No info on where this was supposed to occur.  No info on when this was supposed to occur.  All I know is it felt like a prophetic dream.  Sorry that I couldn’t get more information.

World Peace Day

June 21, 2017 by eagle

On a more positive note…

It is World Peace Day.  But we can’t have peace if women are still seen as “less than”.  We are equals in God’s eyes–not above men, not beneath men.

The world is out of balance and not respecting women and the feminine.  When women are respected for their God given gifts of prophecy and giving life, for nurturing, for caretaking…then we will have peace.

I truly believe that we are sorely in need of nurturing in our world…that we are craving that nurturing that is missing…

When she is unable to say NO!!!

June 21, 2017 by eagle

FAIR WARNING:  This post is a rant.  I am angry as hell. So if you’re having a bad day or in a negative mood, this probably isn’t the post for you today.

So Bill Cosby has gotten away with drugging and raping women over and over and over again …for decades.  Oh, I mean…gotten away with allegedly raping women…see, lawyers don’t fight for justice, they only fight for rich pricks who violate women repeatedly and would be more than happy to sue someone who doesn’t use the word allegedly when talking about a creep like Cosby.

And I used to like and even admire Bill Cosby.  And all that time he was allegedly rendering women unconscious so they could not fight back when he intimately violated them…over and over and over again.

The #%&#! coward drugged them so they could not say NO!!!  They could not give their consent.

Just as I could not give my consent to my former husband, who took advantage of my inability to give my consent while I slept.  I know that I am not the only wife whom has been raped by her husband…or that it is not even recognized by people because we were married.   I did not give my consent and even on the two times that I woke up, I objected to him doing it. I should have walked out at that moment, but I was not as strong then as I am now.  He had beaten me down with words so my self esteem was so low that I did not recognize verbal or sexual abuse that it was.  When I say I left my marriage, I say that I crawled away.  I only started coming to the realization the scope of the damage he had done two years after the divorce.  And I am still, twenty plus years later, trying to undo the damage done.

Predators like him and Bill Cosby choose their victims well.  They know who is vulnerable and too trusting and they take advantage of that naivete.  Truly, women of verbal abuse, or any abuse, if their spirits survive the abuse, eventually come to realize that if they were to trade places with the abuser, would never abuse them in the way that they themselves were abused.

Eventually, the abuse victims whose spirits survive it come to that realization.  I say if their spirits survive it because I have come to see verbal and sexual abuse as tools of the dark side…a way for satan to destroy someone’s soul. Some don’t survive it and become robots or shells who go through the motions of life, but whose spirit has been so damaged that they can’t break away. And I would say, they find it difficult to connect with God.  Again, this is my opinion, folks, your mileage may vary.

This fraternity creates or endorses predatory behavior.  Think of this when someone makes fun of people who believe in conspiracies.  They do exist.  Right in front of your eyes, that is, if you don’t pretend you don’t see it happening.

Or how about this victim, who stood up a popular football player.  She was strong and spoke out, and yet she was still re-victimized by society.

The Ancestors…

June 13, 2017 by eagle

God constantly amazes me by the little bits of revelations as I walk my path…

I’ve stated before that I have combined my Christianity with Native American spirituality, but this past week, a sibling revealed to me that we do, indeed, have Native American blood, which I suspected, but no proof until now.

I couldn’t be more pleased and proud.

What bothers me is that so many people are ill-informed about Native spirituality.  A Jesuit priest witnessed a traditional Medicine man asking God to help heal a young boy who was dying.  The Jesuit priest proclaimed the Medicine man as a satanist, which doesn’t make any sense because he would have to proclaim Jesus as a satanist for doing the same things.  Jesus  was using earth and the power God gave him to heal people, such as when he spit on mud and placed it upon the blind man’s eyes so that he could see, or those that were healed by Jesus’ touch, even raised from the dead.   It doesn’t make sense that a loving God would give only ONE person the power to heal.  I have read too many stories of those healed and experienced such phenomenal things that I know God has given these miraculous gifts to others.

In fact, I believe that God has given each of us the ability to heal ourselves.  This I am learning through the miracle of fasting.  I truly believe that it heals the body as well as the soul.  For me, I feel God’s presence more when I am fasting.  It is a deeper spiritual connection.

I also have learned that I have two more ancestors (uncles) who fought on the Union side in the Civil War.  They were originally in North Carolina, but in another twist to the story, ended up fighting in an Indiana regiment.  Everything comes back to Indiana.

And you want to know the coolest part…?  The prior generation owned slaves…so my ancestors recognized it as wrong and were willing to lay down their lives.  I could not be more proud.

Wow, what a weekend…

May 30, 2017 by eagle

This weekend was a wonderful mix — I met people from Taiwan, New Zealand, and the good ole’ USA.  It is so nice when folks can come together in this beautiful place.

I attended a Native ceremony honoring the Veterans.  It was very moving.   The Native folk honor the warriors for their bravery, strength and courage.  They also hold the Black Hills sacred, so it was a doubly moving ceremony in this sacred place.  I thought about my Dad, a WWII vet, and Caleb, my ancestor who was a Civil War vet, and about a sibling whom had enlisted in the 70s.  I thought about those buried in the cemetery.  I thought about their families.  I noticed folks came from as far away as Texas and Pennsylvania.  Such love and respect.

I read the book, Returning to the Lakota Way by Joseph Marshall III.    It is a wonderful book and I highly recommend it for anyone wanting to understand the beliefs and way of life of the traditional Native folk.

In the book was a powerful story of the Shield Maker, a warrior that acted in haste that cost him a lot.

The story goes that the Shield Maker, known as Stone Arrow, was a warrior that had gone to scout out a newly arrived tribe’s village.  They were spotted by a young boy warrior who attacked.   Stone Arrow pushed him down and threw his lance away.  The young boy came at him again with the lance, and Stone Arrow quickly disarmed him and thrust the lance into him.

All the way back to their village, Stone Arrow wondered whether he had done the right thing…whether the action was justified.  He thought of all the reasons to justify his actions.  Stone Arrow was an experienced warrior, but the young man was not.  He wanted to be a war leader, and was worried that his actions had cost him that position.

Some time not too long after the boy warrior was killed, Stone Arrow returned to his lodge (tipi) to find his wife and baby gone.  He checked around the village to see where they had gone.  No one had seen them.  Stone Arrow returned to his lodge and then saw it:  the unmistakable signs that his family  was taken by the father of the young boy he killed.

He searched and searched for his family, but never found them.  He intended on killing the father of the boy.

On one search, he grew weary and made camp.  An old man appeared from nowhere and began to talk with Stone Arrow about his missing family.  He made the point that if Stone Arrow found the father and killed him, would that bring his family back?  The father had felt the same pain of losing his son that Stone Arrow was feeling now.

Stone Arrow took his words to heart and knew that the old man was speaking the truth.  But Stone Arrow felt lost without his family.  He was in a no man’s land of emotions.

The old man stayed with him for awhile, asking Stone Arrow to make a choice on which path he wanted to take:  a path of peace or a path of war or death.  He counseled that the path of peace would not be the easy path to take, but would nourish his soul and make the unbearable more bearable.  The path of death would not.

Stone Arrow took time to contemplate the wise old man’s words.  He lit a fire at the top of a hill, as instructed, to let the old man know his decision was one of peace.

In the week that followed, the old man taught Stone Arrow how to make shields so strong that a lance could not penetrate them.  From then on, he was known as the Shield Maker.

The old man went on to talk about warriors being men of peace who were aware of the impact of war, the sacredness of life, and wanting peace, but being willing and able to defend the village, the women and children, but always keeping in mind the impact of their actions.

This is in contrast to those who profit off of war who wish to keep us in perpetual war by creating boogeymen out of people who want what we want — peace.  Most people just want to live their lives, provide food and shelter for their families.  Most people want peace.
