As former president Jimmy Carter is in hospice care, and there are those still denigrating him, I wanted to share a skit SNL did back in the day.

President Carter was a Navy nuclear scientist and actually served his country, unlike every president since then. And I am sick of the way he is put down.

This skit shows him as an intelligent, caring individual that he is.

And it was done by us boomers, another generation they like to denigrate.
