The evil ones like to use half-truths as a weapon for slandering their targets.

For example, when I was in training class for a job, a training director took us out to the spacious lunch area for a weird training exercise.

He manually directed which team we were on, and had us in a straight line facing the other side. We had to ask a question and throw a ball to the other side for them to answer.

It was a weird exercise because it was not a learning experience.

It was just repeating what the trainer had instructed us to do.

And what he wanted us to repeat was weird and untrue.

He had us say the opposite of what was true.

I knew he was up to something because it involved drugs.

I was forced to say that I had a drug problem.

I’m paraphrasing here, but it went something like, “Sometimes I do too much…”

Just for the record, that statement is untrue!

It was a half-truth, because I said it, but it was part of a class exercise that the training director conducted, and I was instructed to say something like I was addicted to drugs.

The training director clapped with glee after I said it….my antenna went up.

I think he has used the half-truth to smear my reputation.

It was a lie, but was said in class as part of an exercise, so it was said, but not the truth.

A half-truth.

These manipulative lying bastards use the half-truth to destroy people’s reputations and ruin careers.
