Roy Halladay plane crash

First, I want to say that although I used to follow baseball somewhat, I’ve kinda slacked off it, so I don’t know Roy Halladay.

However, the plane crash just raised those pesky red flags…first, the amateur video:

The first thing that leaps out is the distance from the videographer and the plane.  You really don’t know WHOSE plane that is.

Secondly, they keep saying Halladay was showboating.  Showboating is going waaay up and swooping down, like a pelican.  I am not seeing showboating when looking at this video.  As someone in the comments states, this plane is designed to land on water, so it appears that Halladay is practicing landing on the water from higher up.

Thirdly, these potty mouth idiots are just standing there VIDEOTAPING RIGHT AFTER THE CRASH instead of getting their asses in the water to see if he is still alive.   I don’t know for sure, but someone commented on yahoo’s website that the fuel used in these planes will not burn the skin like that of jetliners, so the excuse that these ball-less men did not get into the water because of chemical burns is bunk.

Fourth, and this is the biggest red flag — they don’t show the plane actually crashing.  You see it gliding over the water, and then….the potty mouth getting his mug, which he conceals, on the camera talking about the crash.  He and his “bro” appear to be over-acting, like they are trying to be younger than they are.  Just my instincts kicking in…

Fifth, they said that there were no mayday calls by Halladay.  Now his wiki page says that he did make mayday calls.  The plane does not appear to be in distress–it actually looks like it is gliding quite nicely over the waves.  Things that make you go hmmm…

Sixth, he was in Florida…it being one of the beleaguered states with the hurricanes and Morgellons, along with California and Texas.

This crash is too,too reminiscent of John Denver’s crash, and I don’t believe Denver’s crash was an accident.  Witnesses heard a boom, like there was an explosive device going off, just before the plane did a nose dive.  Denver was an experienced pilot.

And an environmentalist….which may be the reason he was killed.

So I am waiting to see what comes of Halladay’s death.  I hope that if someone knows something or saw something, they will come forward.  By all accounts, Halladay was a good man who was ethical.
